late 1986 4wd with new allied loader and fresh paint. the asking price is $10,500. hours1350. 2 questions, please. any negative history on this model and is the price fair? thanks

I had a 1050 MFWD, TLB that I sold after about a year of ownership. The reason I sold it was that I didn't need the backhoe anymore and I was offered a good price for it the way it was.
The tractor is basically bullet-proof, but there are some things to look for.
Check the front axle around the spindles for leaks, this is a common problem and it costs ~$250 to repair.
Check the clutch and the PTO. A new clutch with labor is ~$1700.
It also has a turbo charger but it isn't notorious for problems.
The price sounds be a bit high but it depends on your area. I'm not an expert on this tractor, I only owned one for about a year but I did some reseach and talked to people as you are. Good luck. ....
